Beijing ambassador-designate to Malawi, Fan Gwijin, has led the delegation.
Speaking in Lilongwe, Gwijin said his entourage had traveled to Malawi to assess, evaluate and inherit the projects which have been left by the Taiwanese.
"We shall start the projects immediately after our architectsfinish their work and see how much they will cost," he said.
"These projects are the Karonga to Chitipa road (in northern Malawi) and Parliament Buildings (in the capital Lilongwe) which were big projects funded and constructed by Taiwan,"
Beijing ambassador to Malawi designate said. Gwijin who will visit Karonga with his delegation to see the progress of the Chitipa-Karonga road project said China will also assist the county in humanitarian projects, health and agriculture.
